Coaching

Coaching (according to the ICF) is an interactive process that helps individuals or companies to accelerate the pace of development and to improve performance. The interaction of the coaching process is determined by the presence of a coach, whose task is to become familiar with the client and to find the source of problems that hinder smooth and successive operations. Coaching can focus on the client’s private or professional life.

Coaching within a company

The coaching process within a company can be implemented on various levels:

– as professional coaching aimed at employees working at different levels within the company; in this form it is intended to support the employee in the most effective execution of professional tasks,

– as executive coaching addressed to the representatives of middle management, whose task is to improve work efficiency by developing the desired soft skills,

– as managerial coaching for managers in senior positions, whose main task is the development of managers and their leadership and management skills.

Advantages of coaching

By identifying and eliminating the source of problems that hinder an individual’s efficient and effective operation, coaching enables even better use of the individual’s potential through the development of desirable competences at a given position. Thanks to professional support, the client not only improves his efficiency at work, but above all, broadens his self-awareness, as a result of which he can more fully and efficiently use his skills while effectively striving for their development. Coaching in the company results in the increase of employees’ competences and leads to an increase in the company’s market efficiency and competitiveness.
